Visit Boticas is the first Portal of Tourism and Leisure of Boticas. It provides free and useful information constantly updated through thematic publications, databases and news content.
Its objective is to promote the territory, services and products in a perspective of local sustainable development.

Bruno Osório

Born in Régua, Bruno has a degree and a postgraduate degree in Archaeology from the University of Minho. He worked as a senior technician in archeology at the Boticas Town Hall under the CEDIEC project – European Center for Documentation and Interpretation of Iron Age Sculpture, where he was responsible for the archaeological excavation work at the Hillfort of Outeiro Lesenho.

Célia Gomes

Born in Braga, Célia has a degree in Biology - Scientific-technological Branch, from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. She has a post-graduate degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Évora. She is a permanent collaborator of the project STRI – Nocturnal Raptors of Portugal and founder of Erithacus – Biodiversity & Sustainable Development, a company created with the intention of developing scientific research work and dissemination of the natural values ​​of our country. She loves bugs, hills and woods (and Sport Lisboa e Benfica).

Cristina Barros

Cristina is a Superior History Technician at the Boticas Town Hall where she is responsible for the CEDIEC – European Center for Documentation and Interpretation of Iron Age Sculpture, TVAP – Terva Valley Archaeological Park and the Boticas Rural Museum – Barroso Ecomuseum Pole, projects. Born in Boticas, Cristina holds a degree in History and Research from the University of Minho.

Miguel Duque Couto

Miguel is the hiking lover that knows everything about Boticas, fruit of the taste for the patrimony and the old things. Born in Massachusetts in the United States of America, Miguel holds a degree in Humanities from the Faculty of Philosophy of Braga. Miguel is president of the Local Council of Sapiãos and collaborates in the Ecomuseu – Barroso Association, where he is responsible for the Rural Museum of Boticas. He is member of the Regional Songs Group of the Cultural, Recreational and Sports Association of Serra do Leiranco – Sapiãos.

Nuno Cardoso

As a child He wanted to be a teacher, a painter and a musician, but journalism ended up speaking louder. He was born in the 80's, grew up in the 90's and made his professional debut in the following decade, as soon as he finished his degree in Social Communication in 2007. For more than a decade he has been working with Jornal de Notícias and Diário de Notícias, both in his daily editions and in his publications, such as former Notícias News and the current Evasões. Words, and especially a leaf in white, continue to move it but not only: travel and music are the main passions.

Tiago Rodrigues

Tiago is a graphic designer and art editor at UMinho Editora. He founded Visit Boticas in 2017, where he performs various functions, from management and editorial direction, to design and production of content. He likes to ride his bike and hike alone in the mountains of the county.
