The slope of the Seirrãos Viewpoint was the stage for the 7th edition of the Boticas Hill Climb last weekend, September 24th and 25th, the last qualifying race for the Portugal Mountain Championship (CPM) JC Group 2022.
The big winner was Hélder Silva (Osella PA2000 EVO2-PA.30), who managed to finish, in one of the official climbs, the Boticas track in 2:16.697, leaving behind the Spanish driver Cesar Rodriguez (Osella PA21 Jrb) and the leader of the JC Group Racing Team, José Correia (Norma FC20), respectively, on the podium and in the Prototypes division.
In the touring cars category, Luís Nunes (Skoda Fabia R5), a driver from Valpaços, triumphed in the general touring cars category and in the touring cars 1 division, becoming the four-time national champion.
The Transmontano Joaquim Teixeira (Seat CUPRA TCR (SEQ)), who has been wearing the Boticas Municipality symbol in several competitions, was the winner of the Turismos 2 division.
It was with an exemplary participation that the Flavian driver Carlos Delgado (Ford Escort MK I), debutant at the Boticas Hill Climb, triumphed in the Portugal Hill Climb 1300 Championship, Classics division.
