The short distance walking trail “Trilho dos Lameiros do Barroso” is a circular walking trail, that starts and ends near the information panel located in Capela square, in Vilarinho Seco, a village with an old urban layout composed by granite stone houses and granaries, where some inhabitants still wear traditional costumes. Leaving the village, the trail heads towards the Ponte de Mena bridge, along a path between mountain meadows well looked after by the local people, and continues to the village of Bostofrio, a typical Barroso village where the walking paths are flanked by stone walls and meadows that make green the dominant colour of the landscape.

On the way out of the village there is a small deviation that leads to a traditional shelter that was used as a protection for the shepherds against the adverse weather conditions that so often prevail in this region. Arriving at Agrelos, the trail goes through the village streets, passing under the Morgado de Agrelos house passway, and continues towards the Lomba viewpoint, where the trail takesyou along more mountainous paths and returns to its starting point.
