Jacobo Senin wins Rampa de Boticas Hillclimb

Boticas was the stage last weekend, September 18th and 19th, of the Rampa de Boticas Hillclimb, the seventh and last race of the Portuguese Mountain Championship (CPM) JC Group.

The big winner of the 2021 re-edition of the Rampa de Boticas Hillclimb was the Galician Jacobo Senin (Norma M20 FC), who repeated the feat of last May, when the first CPM race and also the European Mountain Championship took place in the lands of Barroso.

The other absolute podium places were won by César Alonso (Osela PA 21JRB) and José Correia (Osella PA2000 EVO2-PA.30), respectively.

Luís Nunes (Ford Fiesta ST R5), driver from Valpaços, triumphed in the Turismos category, Turismos 1 division, and became three-time national champion.

The Transmontano Joaquim Teixeira (Seat CUPRA TCR (SEQ)), who has represented the Municipality of Boticas in several competitions, was the winner of the Turismos 2 division.

The flavian driver Luís Delgado (Ford Escort RS1600) triumphed in the Mountain Classics Championship.

Following his brother’s example, Raúl Delgado (Honda Civic Type R) came to Boticas to conquer the Regional Hillclimb, leaving behind Boticas’ Bruno Ponteira (Vauxhall Corsa VXR Turbo) and Sabino Pires (Renault Clio RS-F1).

The race, organized by Demoporto – Motor Sports Club of Porto, with the support of the Municipality of Boticas, was attended by about fifty pilots who enjoyed two days full of adrenaline, in what was the last race of the 2021 season of the National Mountain Championship.
