This spectacular 11 km course, starting and ending in the village of Bobadela (near TVAPIC), connects the Brejo Lagoon, resulting from an old open-air mining operation, to the Castle of Contenda, through an ancient medieval road, a testimony of the first efforts to organize the territory at the time of the Portucalense County.
Along the path that winds through the Serra do Leiranco, crossing some of the water lines that will feed the Brejo stream and the water mills of Bobadela, you will find Hill-fort of Brejo (Castro), which, given its proximity, is believed to correspond to a ‘castrejo settlement’. Above, at more than 900 meters of altitude, the Hill-fort of Nogueira (Castro), located in a spur of the mountain and that impresses by the location, invites to a stop to enjoy the views.
