Souto Escuro 2

TVAP / Ancient Rock Carvings Route

Like the Souto Escuro 1 site, from which it is about 200 m to N, this site is located at the foot of the southeast slope of the Serra do Leiranco, near the village of Bobadela.

The engraving, obtained by pecking and abrasion, is in a granite outcrop that borders the path, an outcropping that is fractured by stone extraction. It is formed by a single circular motif, drawn by the grooves of four concentric rings, with a central dimple. On the nascent side, four dimples occupy the space between the 2nd and 3rd ring, partially interrupting the furrow.
